Tobermory - Part II

We spent one afternoon at Singing Sands Beach which was about 10 mins from our cottage and all sand and very very very shallow for a very long time.  They loved it, despite that it was a bit cool.

The following day we went to a little cove where the water was crystal clear (and absolutely freezing) and the beach was white round stones.  We spent most of the day here it was so nice.  It was Wilson's first opportunity to really swim since there was an actual drop off and he took himself on a long swim by himself.  I was worried he wasn't coming back but he did.

Throwing rocks!

Alexis did not swim cause it was so cold.  Greyson was brave and went in a couple of times quickly and Trev.   I think I was the only one that swam for awhile.

Father and son fishing trip

Going for an evening walk with the dogs.  Alexis walked Wilson and Greyson got to walk Ernie.  The walks don't last long with an 11 year old dog and a 5 month old puppy

This is our driveway, you can kind of see the water in the distance and the roof of the cottage

On the glass bottom boat heading out to Flower Pot Island

Checking out the old shipwrecks

The kids did very well on the hike from the dock to the lighthouse and back

Climbing the steps to the cave

In the cave

View from the cave - there are some very big birds on that rock.  The picture doesn't show it very well.

In the little house where the lighthouse keeper would have lived -  it was all set up as it would have been back when it was operating.

Having out picnic lunch at the lighthouse
