Tobermory - Part I

Streching out the legs on the drive to Tobermory

Once we arrived at the cottage Wilson's first priority was to take a dip

Throwing rocks was a favourite past time during our stay

The water was really shallow and rocky - perfect for the kids, they loved it.

Trevor and Willy BBQing on the back deck

View from the shore looking back at our cottage - it was a nudey party

Nude Bubbles!

Taking out the new dingy for a ride

Alexis was not a fan!

Our dear old Willy just enjoying the view on the water

Willy and Ernie - I think they enjoyed each other's company

Alexis throwing rocks in puddles

Greyson really liked being "in charge" of Ernie

Roasting some marshmallows

Throwing a ball for Willy

 Baby Ernie

One tired and stiff Wilson

Trevor doing some evening fishing before we have a fire

The kids shared a bunk bed (Alexis' first time in a real bed), Greyson on the top and Alexis on the bottom.  Alexis was going up and down the ladder from day one, unfortunately for her she did have quite a fall one afternoon.   She fell right out of the top bunk down onto the bottom bunk, hitting her head on the side rail:(  She had quite a bump and bruise, but it went away pretty quickly.  This is a picture of Alexis and Trevor having a snuggle on the porch right after.  It was a rainy day that day.

Taking advantage of the rainy day

Uncle Shawn having fun with the kiddos in the rain

Shawn and Laura paid for the hottub to be available and it was a very nice feature.  The kids even got to try it out for a quick dip.

After a day in Tobermory we got to take Ernie back to cottage with us while Laura and Shawn did some grocery shopping

The sweet shop - I have no idea why Lexi is crying!

Enjoying some white fish tacos and onion rings  on the patio

Notice ice cream and no tears

The ducks were very friendly - we got them some rice and we soon had a lot of ducks to feed

Watching a big digger being unloaded to do some work on the dock

Mini Golf - on the world's most unsafe course ever.  Rotting wood, rusty nails, you know the usual.  But it was fun!
