Alexis still has absolutely no teeth and no signs or feelings of anything teeth-like in her mouth. But that has not stopped her from eating like a champ and trying new consistencies.
Things Alexis has added to her repertoire over the past month:
- clapping
- waving
- standing up when leaning or holding onto something (but only when we place her in the standing position)
- drinking from a sippy cup
- eating cheerios and banana that is not pureed
- lots of different noises and syllables
- kissing
- pulling the cats tails (mostly Bill) while her diaper is being changed and they're sitting right there just within her reach - they still have not learned their lesson.
She's also learning to sleep even better - she's always been a good sleeper, but she now has many more nights where she sleeps through the night, than not. However, these days I feel worse in the morning when I have had a solid night sleep (generally 8 - 10 hours) than when I had an interrupted sleep.
