Pre Birthday Storm

Friday night we started the preparations for Greyson's Birthday as we were going to be at Thomas the Train all morning.  I made the cake and put it in the oven - half way through the baking of the cake the power went.  The sky went from completely normal to completely green in like 2 minutes and we spent some time in the basement.  Everything was fine, however the cake was not even close to be done.  We decided to bbq it the rest of the way, which took sooooo long.  When it was finally done I made several attempts to get the cake out of the pan (which is usually very easy), but it wasn't happening.  So in frustration I decided to give up... for the night.  I would attempt it again on Sunday, once the power was on!
