Indoor campout

 

It rained the day following the boys campout.  Greyson was a little disappointed that we took the tent down,  however loved the idea of having a campout in his room with his sleeping bag and play tent.

It took a lot of convincing to get Greyson to accept that these dinosaur eggs were not going to hatch immediately...

Fishing, Pizza in the outdoor oven and a campout

Greyson requested pizza in the outdoor oven to go along with his fishing trip in the morning with daddy, and their campout that night.  The only thing we forgot to do was a campfire with marshmallows before bed.  Greyson told me that "the girls had to sleep inside".  I left them around 8pm to their stories in the tent, and about 30 mins later I could hear Greyson's excited yells and screams from the tent all the way from the couch .  To say he was excited about everything that had happened that day would be a huge understatement....

He may not look like he is enjoying himself, but he was just in quiet awe.  We were waiting in line for our chance to spray the fire hose when they got a call so we missed out on that.  But he got to watch them leave with lights and sirens blaring right beside the driveway which made up for it I think.

Note - Alexis is standing all on her own here  - this happens a lot these days!

We have been renovating our laundry room and here are some pictures midway - after we had installed the new floor.

Greyson's Actual Birthday

Greyson must have felt older, wiser as he decided that this was the day he would get his own milk first thing in the morning.  He got the cup, he got the milk and then we woke up to crying in the kitchen once the milk was spilt.  Very good effort though!
