We took Greyson and Lexi to the Simcoe Fall Fair - We ended up getting their a little later than intended so that may have had an impact on Greyson's second fair ride not going as well. He wanted to ride the cars here - his choice of all the kiddie rides - however started crying the second the ride started. All we could do was throw him his giraffe and offer words of encouragement. He took it pretty well though and recovered well. The night was saved by another "fishing game" which consisted of rubber ducks swimming quickly around and around and you had to grab three - pretty simple, however I had no idea how long it would take for a 2 year old to grab one of those ducks. Pretty funny stuff - he would focus on one specific duck but it would go to fast and then we would have to pick a new one out and start all over. In the end he got to pick out a prize and picked a big inflatable duck that he thought was the most amazing thing ever! Then we finished the outing with a ride down the huge slide with dad - he wanted to do that one again!
So far, so good
And then come the tears, but in his defense this kid ride went pretty fast.
