The Norwich Tractor Pull 2015

Tractor pull weekend was another success.  Friday night Greyson, Alexis, Trev, Grandpa Bruce and Grandpa Joe went for the evening events.  Alexis decided she was done 8 so I went to pick her up and bring her back to hang out with my mom and I.  The following day we went with Lindsey, Kevn and Garrett and met up with some other friends there.  It was the polar opposite of last year weather wise, it was so bloody hot that we couldn't take it anymore - we being Lindsey and I.  The were really going with the bouncy castles despite the heat - crazy children!

So we cut the tractor pull short after 2 hours and opted to go back to the Ellis' house to cool down in the pool and have a bbq. Oh.. and try out all the atvs they have... Greyson and Lexi tried Masons (which I held my breath the entire time) and Trevor tried both Masons and Heidi's new blue one.

Happy Birthday to me!

Trev came home from Indiana on my Birthday just in time to bring home a cake and take me (and the kids) out for some sushi at a new place.  Thanks Trev!

Greyson and his baseball playing dog

Greyson has seen some of the Air Bud movies (the sports playing golden retriever).  After the baseball movie he is determined that Ruby WILL play baseball.  They have been practicing daily and he found a shirt for her.  I still have yet to do my part which is sewing an elastic to a Jays hat for her to wear.

The Cottage with Lindsey, Kevin and Garrett

We were able to spend 3 days at Kevin's family cottage in MacTier with the Rowley-Edgells.  We think the last time we were all there together was before Greyson was born - boo!  This will now be a annual thing, hopefully once in the winter and once in the summer.  The kids got the full cottage experience - fishing, boating, tubing (yes even the 3 year olds), swimming, kayaking, movies, fireworks, swimming, swimming and more swimming!  We had a blast!!  Thank you Lindsey and Kevin for having us! (Tubing pictures to come).  This was also Ruby's first time at the water - she liked it, but only swam when was necessary (aka. when Trev threw her in).  She liked to splash around in the shallow part, but so far not doing a lot of swimming on her own...

Poor Ruby got one nasty bite above her eye by something
