As Trev went to work that afternoon and they had been talking about some bad storms that were coming, I had planned ahead enough to have a variety of things in the basement if we needed to go down.  We had books, snacks, drinks, the pack and play, giraffes and monkeys, radio, flashlights and lollipops.  I didn't want to give Lexi one but that was pointless to even try. 

We went down cause it looked bad, then came up and then went down when they stated we had a tornado warning and should take cover.  We spent a good hour down there  - 2 kids, 5 animals.  Apparently the storm went right over our house, but we saw very little evidence of that when it was clear to head back up to real life.  I was a tad stressed, they, on the other hand, had the time of their lives, as these pictures show...
