More Smiles and visits

We have had some visits from Uncle Stinks (Jeff) and Aunt Katie (who is due very very very soon now!!!!). You may notice from the pics below that there is some resemblance to Uncle Stinks, just a little bit. Greyson and I have been trying to keep ourselves busy during the day and have done some shopping with Grandma M- turns out he is an excellent shopping companion so far:) Smiles are given out all the time now and there is LOTS of talking happening - Especially in the morning - Greyson is a real morning person! Greyson is looking forward to meeting his new cousin soon and spending lots of time with him since Katie and I will be off together.

Greyson's first sleepovers:)

Hi all - I making my first contribution to the blog. In the past two weeks Greyson has had two very successful sleepovers. The first was at Lisa's parents place on Lake Huron, and the second was at Lisa's house for a girls night with Aunt Lisa, Aunt Laura, and Aunt Sabrina. We also had a visit from Uncle Joel and Aunt Tara for dinner and some scotch.

Thanks to all the lovely gifts Greyson has received I have had a lot of fun putting on new outfits and dressing him in "real" little boy clothing which you can see from the pics. I bought him his first pair of denim overalls this week and he is adorable in them - I will post a pic soon.

Please enjoy the pics of our little man!! (the order is all messed up - the posting of pics is a little funny tonight).

Smiles, Smiles, Smiles......

Someone turned the smile dial to "ON" a week ago Wednesday on this kid of ours. When all needs have been met, you are 100% guaranteed to receive at least one GOOD one. It's really amazing how a little smile from someone who doesn't speak words can help break the language barrier, and how it make your worst day your best. Along with smiles has come some cooing, sticking out tongues & funny faces. His play mat on the floor is a hit now, and likes playing and talking to himself while the dogs hang out beside him. He seems to be especially fond of Willy. This week we're guessing that he's setting a new sleep schedule, and so far we're fans.

Wake up: 5am - Eat
Sleep: 6:30am
Wake up: 9:30am - Eat, smiles, play time
Sleep: 11:00am (In Bouncy chair)
Wake up: 12:00pm - Eat, outside time
Sleep: 1:30pm (In Bouncy chair)
Wake up: 3:30pm - Eat, go outside with the dogs, wait for Dad to get home, Eat again.
Sleep: 5:30pm
Wake up 7:00pm - Smiles, Eat, play time with Dad
Sleep: 9:00pm (This week he has been waking up to fuss a little when we go upstairs, but then sleeps soundly until 5am.

We're so lucky.
