Christmas Tree

The Christmas tree was put up this weekend, the pictures weren't great, but here it what I could get.  I am so lazy with Christmas this year, because I am sooo humongously pregnant and uncomfortable.  But I'm getting what I can - the kids don't seem to notice which is good.

This is what I am going to refer to as our white trash picture - Trev's creepy moustache and Greyson has his hand down his pants for some reason.  Alexis is normal though so that's nice.,

Ruby's perch

Our new temporary neighbours have a huge yellow lab named Max.  Max is a sweet, outdoor mostly, dog and sometimes gets off his leash and comes for a visit.  Ruby is quite fond of him, but I think he's more interested in us.  She often spends time in the morning and afternoon looking out the window at Max, or looking for him.  The kids think it's pretty cool that we have a Max and Ruby of our own (Max and Ruby is a kids show about cartoon brother and sister rabbits)

Norwich play date

There is a group of women in Norwich that are all around the same age with kid(s) the same age, and that are pregnant and due around the same time (its weird).  When we don't meet up at the 2 programs per week in town, we alternate playdates at each other's houses as well.  Here is one attempt at a picture of some of the kids that Alexis plays with weekly.

Alexis shows how tall she really is  - One of the girls is almost 4 and the others are all 2.  Brooklyn, in the blue coat, is the little girl that spent the night missing in a cornfield this fall.  She is a tough girl!

Play date with the doggies

I spent the morning at my friend Laura's dad farm to visit with her and Lisa, and we all brought our dogs for a playdate as well.  Ruby (5 months), Ernie (7 months), and Sadie (9 years).  Sadie did well, but Ernie and Ruby played hard.

Puzzles and Ties

Proud boy of his puzzle and his puppy

Rudolph and Ruby

This is just a cute picture.  But the story behind the tie is funny.  Greyson had a big anti-bullying assembly at his school that day.  He talked about what it was going to be about before hand, and that morning he picked out his best shirt and tie because the assembly was "very serious and important" and he needed to wear his "most serious shirt" and look his best.  Awesome!

Visit from Aunty Lindsey and Garrett

Ruby enjoying her new stuffy from Lindsey

Brush Fire

He finally burned the huge pile of brush that was on the edge of our property by the outdoor oven.  Farmer Dave was so kind to drag it out into the field for us to burn.  Alexis came out for a quick viewing (Greyson was at school) - it was huge!

Greyson (and Trev's) Basketball

Greyson started Basketball in November.  He is a little young (it's for grades 1 and 2) but he is always enthusiastic to go (even if there are a few tears from elbows and balls to the face) and is really learning a lot.  Trevor is the team coach.  Here are a few pics from one day when Lexi and I went to watch.

Isla and Alexis

Isla and Alexis (and Aubree too) enjoying the Mother Goose program together

A quick trip to Zehrs after - these pictures make me laugh...
