Applesauce and Winter Fun

Greyson has been starting to get interested in what we are doing at the dinner table so he got a little treat the other night at dinner by having some of Grandma's special baby applesauce. Although he was very serious during the whole thing we think he liked it. Trevor is very excited to feed him some Pureed Christmas Dinner this weekend!!!

Greyson had is first sleigh ride this weekend as well and so far he is a big fan. We have been and will continue to make the trip out to the mailbox in the sleigh - it's much more fun.

just some shoulder time..

Hanging outside while dad puts up the Christmas lights...

Buddies...

After a day of shopping Josh and Greyson had some downtime together on the mat. As you can see Greyson is a real mover these days - poor Josh just has to lie there and take it all, for now.

Sookie up to her usual tricks and Casanova playing along...

Toy/Mat buddies - Although Casanova doesn't show as much affection as Wilson does constantly, it's clear that he doesn't mind sharing the rug with his buddy so they can each enjoy their own respective toys. Although sometimes Casanova needs to be reminded which are his and which are Greysons (especially when Sophie the Giraffe is involved).

Hanging out with the ever changing Joshua..

We had a little photo shoot this week at Grandma Barb's with Joshua and Greyson while we were baking cookies. We caught them both awake and happy which was amazing! Josh is a month and a half now and has changed so much over the past couple of weeks.

Greyson is wayyy to big for his infant/toddler bath tub

... so he is in the real bath tub now which is a big hit since he can really "swim" around and play with all his bath toys. Baths are now part of the nightly bedtime routine and have really been helping out his stuffy nose and congestion.

Hanging out in the great outdoors...

Just having some fun outside with dad...

Greyson is a busy boy

Greyson is on a pretty good schedule these days - regular naps during the day in his crib, and for the most part he goes down without a fuss. Going to bed is another successful routine these days - bath, reading and in the crib without a fuss, however staying asleep seems to be the problem lately. I don't think we can complain since we had it pretty good for the first 4 months, but with teething and a cold it makes sleeping through the night pretty difficult. However he is one happy boy despite the cold and teething. Our day consists of playing on the floor, in the jolly jumper, in the exersaucer, and hanging out on mom in the baby carrier while I try to get things done around the house.

Rolling over in both directions is easy peasy for Greyson now. He is getting his butt up in the air when on his stomach and he almost gets into crawling position, it looks like it could happen any day - crazy! He is already moving around quite a bit when on the floor, I can only imagine what it will be like when he is crawling and REALLY mobile..... ahhhhhh!

The Jolly Jumper and the Dogs

A continuation of the joy that the jolly jumper has brought into our lives - even the the pets are interested...

Although I am sure that Casanova loves Greyson, it is no where near the love that Wilson has for little Greyson. Wilson loves to hang out and lick Greyson's face when he's in the jolly jumper and they had a little moment on the couch the other night

Great Uncle Don had the pleasure of hanging out with both the boys during the Grey Cup - I'm not sure how much football watching was happening...

Visiting cousins in Ottawa..

A couple of weekends ago we made the trek up to Ottawa to visit with the cousins. The drive up was not so fun, even we thought we were being smart by driving up at night when he would sleep... ya that didn't happen. But we made it and it was a fun weekend with Aunt Nic, Uncle Chris and cousins Jonah and Eydie. The Jolly Jumper was officially passed down to Greyson that weekend and it's a BIG hit! As you can see from the pics below the kiddies had a busy weekend of hanging out in between Eydie and Greyson's naps:)
