Someone turned the smile dial to "ON" a week ago Wednesday on this kid of ours. When all needs have been met, you are 100% guaranteed to receive at least one GOOD one. It's really amazing how a little smile from someone who doesn't speak words can help break the language barrier, and how it make your worst day your best. Along with smiles has come some cooing, sticking out tongues & funny faces. His play mat on the floor is a hit now, and likes playing and talking to himself while the dogs hang out beside him. He seems to be especially fond of Willy. This week we're guessing that he's setting a new sleep schedule, and so far we're fans.
Wake up: 5am - Eat
Sleep: 6:30am
Wake up: 9:30am - Eat, smiles, play time
Sleep: 11:00am (In Bouncy chair)
Wake up: 12:00pm - Eat, outside time
Sleep: 1:30pm (In Bouncy chair)
Wake up: 3:30pm - Eat, go outside with the dogs, wait for Dad to get home, Eat again.
Sleep: 5:30pm
Wake up 7:00pm - Smiles, Eat, play time with Dad
Sleep: 9:00pm (This week he has been waking up to fuss a little when we go upstairs, but then sleeps soundly until 5am.
We're so lucky.
