Friday night we had a visit from Greyson's Auntie Lisa, who came for dinner and to take some photos. Lisa took photography in college and has done professional photography in the past including our engagement photos back in 2003. We worked the picture taking around feeding the little man and ourselves, and eventually we wore him out and ran out of light. We are so happy with the pictures, and will be printing some and getting them up on the walls soon. Here's a sneak peak.
Here's Lisa's email address if anyone wishes to use her talents in the future. lillygirl007@yahoo.com

Traveling out this week
This week we've been able to get out of the house for a few short trips to try out traveling with Greyson.
Tuesday we were at the Mayer's, trying to repay Grandma Barb's generosity by helping Grandpa Joe replace the roof on his shed.
Thursday we went to the Well Baby Clinic in Woodstock, a free program offered through public health nurses. Gives us an opportunity to get Greyson weighed and measured, and they have a new speaker each week to talk about common baby topics. The nurse said that they are happy if the babies are up to birth weight by day 10, and Greyson was already over his original birth weight by day 8, 10lbs 2.5 oz. After the clinic, wee went to Zhers for some groceries, and he slept the entire time.
Friday we had Greyson's first Doctor's appointment in New Hamburg, so we decided to surprise Gramma P in Baden for a visit before our appointment.

Thank you Grandma Barb
Grandma Barb came over on Monday to give us a hand with a "few small things".
When Grandma showed up at 1030am, we were expecting to have been gone to the hospital and back before she got there to get our last billiruban test done, but we are slowly learning how a new little person slows your planning down with the whole working around the feeding schedule! So, we brought Grandma along with us. After the trip to the hospital we picked up a quick lunch, and then made our way home. Grandma directed me to go mow the lawn and take a break from the baby work. While i was outside, she put Andrea and Greyson down for a sleep and then cleaned the entire house, and we don't think this house has been cleaner. We had a visit from Great Aunt Shelia and Andrea's cousin Ashley, who is home for a short visit from Yellowknife. Later that afternoon we got the call I've been waiting for, Greyson's billiruban numbers had dropped 40 points and was now in the clear level for his jaundice. We are very thankful for the help, and Greyson appreciated the time with Grandma Barb.

Home Sweet Home
The trip home was uneventful(Rain, McDonald's trip, top speed 50kms/h). We were treated to a homemade spaghetti dinner and apple crisp by Grandma & Grandpa Mayer for dinner Saturday, and then we got some rest in our own bed, no more pull out chair for me! Sunday wee spent mostly in bed outside of bum changes and feeding, and a short trip to the hospital for a follow up Billirubin blood test to check for Greyson's level of jaundice. Later that day we got a call from the doctor the his level had risen, and wee needed to feed him more and try to get him some nude sunshine. 2nd last picture shows his first interaction with nature on his knee!
